Utah's Uintah Basin offers incredible hiking opportunities year-round, but certain seasons provide the best conditions for exploring our trails. TEST
Spring (March-May) brings mild temperatures and wildflowers blooming across the desert landscape. This is an excellent time for all of our tours, with comfortable hiking conditions and fewer crowds.
Fall (September-November) is another prime season, with cooler temperatures and stunning autumn colors in the surrounding mountains. The lower elevation trails around Vernal remain accessible and pleasant.
Summer can be hot, but early morning hikes are still enjoyable. We often schedule tours for dawn during peak summer months to beat the heat.
Winter brings its own beauty, though some trails may be inaccessible due to snow. Contact us for current conditions and winter hiking options.
